ET/ PT/ Life Birth

In the course of ovarian stimulation, you would have received some drugs from your specialist to help prepare your womb lining to receive an embryo and support implantation. The embryos are introduced into the centre of your womb under an ultrasound guide using an embryo friendly rubber catheter. This is usually a very short but critical procedure.

Following embryo transfer comes an emotional and sensitive part of IVF called The Wait.  During this period of 2 weeks, we will call you to check in on you and discuss any worries or concerns you have, you would also be on medications that support implantation. After waiting for the allotted time, you will take a pregnancy test to discover whether your embryo transfer has been successful or not.
