Upon egg collection, the gametes are transferred into the IVF lab, where the embryologist manipulates (Inseminates/Injects) the gametes depending on the sperm quality. This handling continues for further 24-120 hours to establish developmental milestones and as such be able to select the one with the best prognosis/chances of a 9 months journey.
